Help water pump out?

Default Help water pump out?

When your water pump goes out can you hear a tapping sound comming from it? if so what would cause that.. Im not 100% sure what im looking for here its just I am at a lose for what could be wrong with my car.

well, lets start with this, what year and motor car do you have?
and what exactly is your car doing?

oh, and to answer your question, if the pump was bad, you will be leaking coolant every where and you will not be able to maintain it inside the motor.

gsr in a civic the water pump is new but i have a bad rattle coming from my timing area

Usually if the water pump goes, there is coolant leaking from it. Or your car would overheat.

Maybe you dropped something into that area when you were working on the car. I've done that before.
