help! wanna replace brake master cylinder on my 92 civic
thanks for your interest on helping me i want to try to do this myself cuz my brake pedal sinks to the floor when Im driving and i have to press it several times to build up pressure but now i cant even do that its just gone plus the mechanic want to charge me $200 i see a leak goin down fire wall where its bolted on thats why I havent tryed bleeding the brake system (which I need help on how to do it since ive never done it before) im pretty sure its the MC maybe somebody that has done these can guide me on these plus Im not really sure if my civic has an anti-lock braking system suppously the bleeding needs to be done different if the car is equip with it thanks for any info

you can replace your master cyclinder with the integra 1''.the car will brake more better and the car will stop on a dime if you can find one.if you want to go with a cheaper way.get the integra rs master cyclinder and its a 15/16 so its bigger than stock and its bolts right on rather then the 1'' integra master you would have to get your lines re flared.if your not really wanting to replace it with something bigger or better for some reason just replace it with the stock setup.to bleed the brake you would wanna go..

If you are interested, I have a brand new (from Honda, never used) 15/16 master cylinder I'd be willing to part with.
