Default HELP!!! w/ JDM gsr b18c in 93 civic

i'm getting a JDM GSR B18C swapped into my automatic 93 Civic Ex Coupe; i'm also doing an auto-manual conversion as well. the motor doesnt come with an ECU but the guy said that i can use my stock ECU (P28 Auto). i have heard that the stock ECU will not run right on a B18C.

What will i have to do in order to run a P28 ECU with the B18C??
Or will i be better off using a GSR ECU?

he didn't even type that. that was a pointless post.

and of course your going to be better off with the GSR ecu. just go buy one off of ebay or something. some guy said he was running a p28 with his GSR and said it ran like ****. just buy the ecu, youll be much happier with the swap.

you can chip your P28 or buy a chipped P28/converted P75

on a stock motor run a stock ECU (p72) as there is no need for higher rev limt or any susbtantial map improvements. Stay away from the JDM version of the ECU as it seems to be very weak in which case you're better off with a chipped P28.

Chipped P28 ECU (with GSR program or XS or J's racing) will work fairly well on a GSR but you'll give up few ponies at the low end to gain more power past 5k rpm.

From the tests/dyno I have done, only power seems to suffer when your not in WOT conditions.
