Help w/b16 turbo block
I recently blew a piston due to detonation after putting a turbo kit. I need to RPL my bottom end fast. Not sure if I need everything all together (block w/pistons,rods,crank). Or should I just get my block sleeved? Let me know what you think

If you are going to run over 7 pounds of boost, you should sleeve the block. If you are going to replace the crank, rods and pistons ,then you can convert it to a B18 deck height in the process. Detonation will destroy any motor, so even with sleeves the tuning will have to be corrected.

Sleeve it. JE Pistons, Eagle rods...good bang for your buck set up. Will hold great as long as everything is turned correctly.

Sleeves are not always nessesary, it just depends on how much power your lookin to make. Or just be gangster and get 2 head gaskets and some arp head studs and crank the boost
