help on a very annoying problem

hi im new but i am having some major ploblems with my clutch setup.

i have read throught many topics and i still have not been able to fix this.

we have a esi EG hatch. i had changed the flywheel for a fidanza one and a paddle clutch.

the clutch had around 100miles on it when i had purchasedit.

i split the box away eyc and fitted the new flywheel which fitted fine. then using the clutch and pressure plate it all fitted nicely.

so put the box back on and put everything back together fine. job done or so i thought!!!.

now i bled it up with one problem. a high bite point and some slippage!!!!.

ive now changed the master cylinder, slave cylinder. and pipes bar one (rubber which connects the 2 steel pipes which i am changing firday afternoon).

ive bled many times but with no avail.

could anyone point me in the right direction as it is really depressing!!!

the only part i didnt change dutring the clutch flywheel was the release bearing which was in good condition.

please help as i really need this to work

thank you

My guess is that the clutch pedal isn't adjusted right. Especially considering it engages high and slips. Just out of curiousity, why did you bleed the clutch? All you need to do when changing a clutch is to unbolt the slave cylinder from the bell housing and just tie it up out of the way, you don't need to disconnect the line.

ive adjusted the pedal height to try and sort this but that also didnt work.

i tried to bleed the system as i didnt get the bite point any lower.

ive tried a few slave clyinders as the other 1 was leaking and so was the master.

all i have to change now is the rubber hose between the steel lines hoping that the pipe walls have collapsed.

if i canr sort this then i will take the gearbox off again.

what damage/problems should i look for if i havr to take it off?

the only other thing I can think of is the throwout/release bearing isn't sliding freely on the transmission input shaft.

ive asked a few clutch people over here and sounds the pressure plate is to blame.

one chap said you cant use the pressure plate on another car after being used.

the other said its something to do with the "fingers" on the pressure plate are sitting too high or low.

thay may have bent in the postal system!!.

is it possible to bend the fingers back to the correct height?
