I don't understand why you need any kind of remover for a valve cover stud. I don't know what motor you have, but with DOHC valve cover studs, you take the cover off, loosen the stud from the camshaft holder and replace it. You should get an OEM stud from a dealer. The valve cover studs can be fairly unique.

Can you post a pic ot the stud with the valve cover removed so that we can see what the problem is,like the guy above I don't think you should need an easy-out to remove the stud.

I think I know what he means. where the thread goes into the valvetrain is where it snapped. Its hard to keep a drill bit centered without hitting the threads inside the hole. this is why 2 of my 5 VC bolts are broken.

The D16Z6 does not use Studs, it has actual bolts that screw into the threaded holes in the cylinder head and pull the Valve Cover down. Do you mean one of the valve cover bolts was tightened to much and snapped off and is broke off "flush" with the cylinder head surface?

yes, when i was removing the valve cover i was able to pull it out with only my fingers i was already broke...thats
why oil was everywhere it was comin from under the bolt cuz it wansn't tight...so yes matt93eg it's flush with where
it threads in ...

drill the center of the bolt with a drill bit then use the easy out that fits in the hole, dont torque it to much if it breaks in there u are screwed (so use a tap handle not a drill )
