Icon3 Help Two civic eggs

I need help which 1 should i
get for my 1st car??
There a 1996 an it has
ls motor
Hyper Medallion Exhaust.
headers.
MSD ignition.
Cam gears.
sub cool intake.
stage 3 clutch.
rear control bar.
coil overs.
2 front camber kits.
140k
Gray


and there a 1993
GSR motor and LSD trany
don't know much the guy will tell me more soon
110k
Red
so which one ya think would be better
thanks =] and they both for 4200

The EG looks a lot better. That EK has had the front end swapped and the paint doesn't match which is tacky. Not to mention the rims look like 17"s to me, can't really be sure. The EG is just plain clean.

it looks like the ek had the 99-00 conversion on it (which i like way more than the 96-98)

but they both seem to have their good points

but i would choose the EG over the EK, plainly for the motor, lsd, and because i like the eg hatch more than the ek hatch

EG... if it has not been too close to salt. Go see it, check the body closely... if the rear wheel wells (metal portions) are not lumpy from rust fixes, buy it. I own an EG coupe... so now you know where my preferences drift.

You really should stick a finger around the inside of the wheel well lip close to where it meets the rear bumper and actually feel in there for repair material or the rust itself. If the finger tip comes out rusty or its really lumpy in there, get ready to chase rust or run away!

Drive them both and then buy the one you like.
