Default Help with transmission

me and my brother were putting a new clutch in my car and he went to put the oil in the tranny and i was not paying attion and he put the oil in that hole that has the rubber thing on it i'm not sure whats it called but i'm not sure what to do will it go the same place or whats going to happen thanks

You'll have to give us a better description.

Go to http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com, look up your engine and find the tranny diagram, then post the pic and tell us which hole.

2. Take a picture, or find one, and tell us EXACTLY what you mean.

I believe your speaking of the breather tube.

one inch long tube about 3/8" dia. with a rubber cap.

I dont think it will matter, but may be wrong.

props to your bro for getting it all in that tube.

yea its the breather tube will that hurt any thing

What did he use to get the fluid in there? That hole is freakin' small.

It wont hurt anything. You can add oil through that tube but its like eating through your nose, that hole is tiny.

Your ok, just make sure you didnt put in too much and that you used Tranny fluid and not normal motor oil. Well you can use motor oil but I prefer Honda MTF or better.
