I need help... everytime i put my key into the ignition and when i turn it once i can hear a clicking noise from somewhere around or in the engine then it goes away after a couple of second or when i start the car up... any help??????

depends where u go, try ur local pep boys or a mechanic place htey should be able to give u a estimate.

Do you know how many mileage a car must have for a starter to go bad??? over 100k?? Or is there another reason??? Man this is a pain in the behind... I have school to pay for..

my starter went when i had my integra wasn't sure if it went b4 but i was at 150k n i had to get a new one at 1st it just clicked like u said hten started after like the 3rd try then it started getitn bad like id try to start it like 15-20 times no luck... i bought it to pep boys n got a new starter n installation for like 2 something with a lifetime warrenty. if i knew wut i knew now then i would of did it myself.

a starter cost me 165 with the core charge from advanced automotive parts. you need a 10, 12 and 14 mm wrenches and takes about a half hour to change
