help, swaping trannys on a 2000 EX
ok so I am in the middle of pulling a auto tranny from a 2000 sohc vtec , I am very new to hondas , but have done a ton of vw stuff ( motor swaps etc , just looking for helpfull hints...
also not use to losing gear oil when i pull a axel.. it was like a money shot of atf all over my face

Not really much to dropping the tranny. It should be pretty straight foreward.
Lining it back up will be the hard part (atleast it was with a manual tranny). Just make sure you have an extra set of hands to help you rotate/shove/curse the damn thing.

yea it looks eaisy enough, there are a few things that are odd to me , there is a cable on the botem, of the tranny (I guess it is coming form the shifter in the car ) but you guys have no idea how much eaiser it is to work on hondas , after a few vr6 swaps and afew 1.8ts .. i was flabergasted buy how much less bulshit there is

yea , they do over do a lot of stuff , but my last dyno was 249wheel touqe @ 2400 rpm, with 15psi so it takes a beating well, got to love smal turbos for lots of touque .. though i do lose steam past 5500( never drops below 200wtqe)
