i have a 99 civic ex sohc vetc my speedometer is broken it always fades from working and then jumpy when i hit the gas. then it just entirley stoppped working for two months it use to be whenever i jiggle the wires aroubd the vss it would work but not for long sop i continued to look for a lost connection behind dash ecu the whole bit and nothing disconected or broken then i took a new vss intsalled thatr nothing still then all of a sudden a few months later it started working again then in a day or two broken again dont work at all i was wondering if anyone has any ideas i also sliced the male piece which clips to the vss and cleaned it out and made sure thre was no corrosin and to make sure it fit ok installed it still nothing please let me know anyone!!!! iof you have any ideas i also checked the back of sppedo for craked soldier loose stuff ect???????????
