Default HELP. Smoke in Vtec?

i have a civic hatch with b18c1, with vtec on a button. whenever i engaged vtec it seems like it wont go past 7 k rpms, and the engine smokes. it was a little low on oil so i added oil and it still does it. Any ideas?

Oil change maybe? Knew someone with a similar problem and it was because their oil was thin as water.

typical vtec honda valve guides are what make them smoke in the higher rpm's esp. vtec and take that **** off the button and wire it to the computer like it should be before you blow **** up

you know what i could be? VTEC is hitting so hard, your getting mad HPz y0 and burning out without even noticing it. That would explain the smoke coming from under the hood and inside the car

wow vtec on a button. If you have a CEL then the ECU is not switching to the correct fuel Xover. You looking to blow the motor up? looks like your on your way there. Buring oil usually means worn piston rings.
