Default HELP: SI Swap On A EX Harness Distributor plug is different?...

For all you people who were trying to help last post on getting the car running and for everyone who said buy the B16 dizzy now im back at square one cuz the dizzy plug isn't the same on the si as the EX...Ive been told from alot of people you can use a EX harness on a si swap so if anyone who has done one can help me out that would be great!...

look's like u would have to use the ex dizzy plug and repin it on the b-16 dizzy not really hard at all...

I just called a shop and they said that is one of the plugs they change out using that harness so I need to find some one who can do that cuz I don't have any idea how to..

Thanks for the link but I think if I tryed to mess with that harness I would just cut it all up and end up spending more to fix what I did..lol...

What year is your car and harness. I used a 96-98 EX harness when I did the 2000 b16a2 swap in my 96 Hatch and didnt have to change anything on the distributor plug.

It looks like he has an OBDI harness. That's why it won't plug into his OBDII dizzy.

Have any idea were I could get some help on putting in the engine harness?...
I just bought a Si engine harness so there's no more plug probs...

looks like a 99-00 ex harness.. the 99-00 d series had the rectangle plug instead of the square like the older ones.. either use an si harness or just use the plug from your old distributor

Just need some help puting it in...

99-00 obd2b harness w/ Bseries dizzy plug.
im having the same exact problem...
did u get it working?
