help! shock piston extends past the retaining cup
 

ok i'll try and explain this the best i can since i don't have any way of getting a picture of the problem on here. i just installed a set of tokico blues with bomz racing coilovers in the rear of a '93 civic. when i was finished installing this setup i tryed lowering the rear end to match the front and came to a problem, the shock piston went up about 1 1/4"- 1 1/2" with the top bumpstop and washer on top. i don't know if this will hurt any part of the suspension having it like this but its annoying as hell to ride in because it bounces a lot in the rear end(yes, i know tokico blues are known to be bouncy). any help with this problem would be much appreciated!

i bet u left the taper washer out..... it fits on the shaft where it get bigger

There is a washer you forgot to put in. I know on my AGX's there was a washer you had to put on the tapered part of the rod and I forgot and it poked a dent in my hood. Maybe you forgot the same part
