Default HELP! Seatbelt stuck!

2000 DX. I had removed the seatbelts and now put them back in. The left seatbelt is stuck and under no circumstance will it unroll. The right side one is fine. I know they only unroll at a certain angle, and I installed them correctly - however the left side seatbelt is stuck at its most retracted position and I can't get it to go no matter what I do.

Anyone got any ideas what I can do?

Go to the junk yard... will probably be cheaper to get another then to try and fix them because they are a bitch...

dude! don't buy anything! i've had the same prolm... its an ancient japanese secret... i dunno why but when u take out the seat belts when the mechanizm gets turned upside down it automatically locks....but.... if u pull it out then (holding the belt) let a teeny bit in, u will hear a small click, then u can pull it out a lil more, then let a teeny bit in, hear another click, and it'll pull out a lil more, do this 4 a while and u'll be str8.... some times u can get lucky and w/o this tedious task mount the seat belts back wur they go and the mech (w/ gravity's help) will fix itself... by the way did u notice the "danger- do not open" label on the side of the mech.?? menacing isn't it? welp, good luck!

Ive had a problem with my passenger side belt in my eg. It would never retract. Just go to the Honda dealer and they will fix it free. Its a safety issue. As long as you make it seem like you never fucked with the seatbelt they will fix....

fully install the roll section onto to car. From there, carefully pull and push and it WILL come down. Dont buy anything, dont take it anywhere.
