What....all I was able to make out of that is you can redline the car in 1,2,3 but not 4th an 5th and that your car doesn't want to accelerate in 3the up a hill ?. I see NOTHING wrong here no you don't need to program the ECU and why did you remove the throttle body gasket ?

it's a stock 1.4l what are you expecting from it....

. removing a gasket does not give you an extra 15hp!!! where did you hear that not even my tuner 2 cams in my GS-R did that.

evreywhere my engine is d14a3 75hp is also a d14a4 90hp the engine are the same only in some european country The D14A3 is for tax and insurance reasonce limited to 75hp. The limiter is only a simple metal gasket with a 27mm diameter placed in the inlet flow at the throttlebody.

So you have a d-14 with a Zc head and you changed the throttle body from 27 mm to I'm guessing 54 or whatever the tb size is? Yes you will probably need to tune it and you should get the throttle body gasket for the 90hp engine. Don't just run it with no gasket.

I think there's more to it then just that no way you'd see that big a gain from such a difference. gotta be more to it.

now i have hear that the d14a4 catch top speed 200km in 4th gear i try mine in straight from 1 gear and change it about 6.5 rpm till 3 and when i put to 4th the rpm from 5.5 drops itself till 4 rpm but im still pushing the gas pedal and dosen't go more and the speed is about 150-160km my point is that i cant pass 4rpm with 4 and 5th gear. is like looses all power when i reach 4rpm and stays there no matter how much you push the gas pedal ..and 1 more thing with 1 2 3 gear till 4rpm goes normal then till 7 goes fast like vtec if you know what i mean and i have a remus exhaust till 4rpm sound normal but from that point the sound change and stay the same till 7rpm ... and is ridiculous with 90hp top speed 160km are cars with 70hp and dose better than this

According to Wikipedia he is right about the gasket being the only difference. They do use different Ecu though.
