Help with rough idle!
So my issue is when the car fully warms up and I drive a good distance and then come to a stop my car with idle really rough then go back to normal, sometimes it dies, what's weird is it doesn't do that when the ac is on. I'm not throwing a check engine light and it's a stock d16y7, any ideas?

Re: Help with rough idle!
Car and model? Stick or Auto?
Doesn't do it when AC is on because the idle speed goes up with the AC on and prob hides the problem.
When is the last time you did a simple tune up. Cap, rotor, wires and plugs and for good measure fuel filter.
I would only use NGK plugs and OEM parts.

Re: Help with rough idle!
if it was the fuel filter and been doing it since you got the car then it would get progressively worse. try messing with the idle screw and possibly cleaning the iacv.

Re: Help with rough idle!
-Check the cap and rotor. How old are they?
-Check the coolant level and top off the radiator and reservoir, if necessary, and bleed the cooling system.
-Adjust the idle speed - see diagram in FAQs sticky.
