A lot of interior pieces are simply "grip and rip." I'm not sure if it's the same case for that piece, but a lot of the stuff snaps in. Sometimes there's screws hidden behind other pieces though.

why you removing it? even non wiper models have the box. unless you have gromets to fill the holes and some alternative clasp to latch into your hatch leave it alone. remove the motor from the inside which i belive is three 10mm bolts i belive, and a 27mm i belive on the outside after you remove the wiper. and get the bolt in gromet from another CX. i havent done it in a while but i know you cant latch your glass down without the wiper box.

i just want to remove it cuz i stripped all the tint off my windows and the last bit of tint is pinned between that motor box and the window, so i cant get to the tint underneath the box until i remove it... once i rip that tint off and clean the glue off the glass, i'm putting the box back on, that's all.

thanks for your help guys.

there a 2 philips screws that hold the plastic cover in place remove them pry the case apart. remove the nuts that hold the frame to the glass. If you have a rear wiper remove the wiper arm assy and the lage retaining nut the unit should now come off the window
