any got a good write up or good tips... i searched!

One of the easiest things to do....

There are two bolts on the starter, just undo them and take it off. Oh yeah DISCONNECT the battery FIRST.

yeah seriously, move some wires and the intake tube and 2 bolts on the starter...

Take off the negative battery cable.
Disconnect the power wire to the starter and the lead wire.
Take off the 2 bolts
Remove the Starter

Very Simple

nope, you want to keep that area pretty oil and grease free, so it doesn't get on the flywheel and clutch.
