Default Help..Recaro seats

I just bought a pair of recaro seats that doesn't come with rails and i was wondering if i can use my stock oem rails for it to fit into my civic 96? I been searching, but couldn't find anything on it so i need some help if i can use my stock rails with a little modification on it. I don't want to pay 200 for some rails but if i have no choice i will. Any help will be appreciate. Thank you

You could try to put your rails on, and if they fit there you go. If they don't, then you have your answer.

Just go for it.

It most likely won't work. What seats did you buy?

It won't work! The oem rails bolt onto the side of the seat and the srds are bolted up to the bottom.

I have one ek vision low rail and one recaro dc rail that came off of mine for sale.

You will either need to buy OEM CTR rails, Vision One Touch sliders, Spoon rails, or Memory Fab rails. Stock rails will not work.

ctr recaro seats = JDM recaro SRD (alcantra material) = US recaro SRD ( cloth material) depending on the year the recaro seats were made.

there are 2 things you need... sliders (so you can slide the seats back and forward) and brackets ( mount the seat to slider then the bracket then to the car)

or buy one with the slider and bracket bolted together...

vision one touch slider & bracket (best deal i see... Sold as a pair - both driver and passenger sides included for $170)
http://www.jhpusa.com/store/pc...=3785
(The Vision One Touch slider & bracket are made for Recaro SRD seats from the JDM Civic-R, Integra Type-R, and Euro Acccord-R vehicles.

On my car i have recaro sliders on custom brackets.

I bought some OEM CTR rails but being 6' I may have to go back to the Vision low rails. The seating position is so much better. I just hate the way the "slide". Any low rails will slide like ****.
