Help re: Front suspension install on EK civic hatch
OK, my friend and I are installing Tokico shocks and GC coilover sleeves on his EK hatch. We started on the back and had no problem, but the front is turning out to be much more difficult. What is the correct way to install the front sus? We tried to undo the large bolt at the bottom of the shock fork and it is seized inside of the bushing . After taking it to the local auto parts shop to break it free with an impact gun, they also had no luck. Is there any other way to install the front? Any help would be awesome.

Re: Help re: Front suspension install on EK civic hatch (cplessl)
if it's totally seized you might have to drill it out and replace the bolt... there might be a better way, but i'm not sure...

Re: Help re: Front suspension install on EK civic hatch (VTEXTC HB)
There's a rubber bushing in the lower a arm, and it seems that the bolt is seized inside of it. It was simple to get the nut off of the one side, but getting the bolt out of the a arm has proved to be difficult. We pounded on the bolt w/ a 5 pound sledgehammer and a small block of wood to cushion the blows and still nothing. Any other suggestions?
