HELP-Random AFR lean out
I happened to catch one of the two problems the car has. I'm fed up and lost as to what is causing the lean problems. I want to turbo but not like this. I decided to go for a drive as my complained the other day that is threw a code 10,11,and 21. They have not come back since. The leaning out while idling and cruising started about a month ago. The random bucking, which decided not to show, started last summer. I know the gauges are difficult to read but I hope the captions explain whats happening.
Back story on the engine. It was my brothers. He bought it from an importer and drove it for about two years with no problems. I'm using everything he was except I'm manual.

And no car information provided. One has to assume the signature car information is the car?
Expecting everyone to be psychic is just a we bit counter productive.
Edit your first post and provide full car details, year make model trim modifications etc. Thank you.

Re: HELP-Random AFR lean out
The Sig is the car. However I'll list anyways.
It's a 1992 VX hatch. OBD1 DOHC ZC 100% stock internals. EBay header intake and magnaflow exhaust. It's running off of a p28 with a crome p29 map. It also has an alternator upgrade. The O2 is an oem replacement. The distributor is rebuilt with oem honda parts by me. Wires are newer ngk as well as plugs. These parts are about one year old. The fuel filter had been replaced asking with the fuel pump. I also reflowed the main relay.

Re: HELP-Random AFR lean out
Thank you for the reply. I'll see if someone has a fuel pressure tester. How do I test to see if the injectors are clogged?, pull them and lay them on the engine still in the rail?

Re: HELP-Random AFR lean out
I appreciate the replies but I did some searching on dirty, clogged fuel injectors and I think my injectors are good. I would go outside and check if it wasn't thunderstorming. I read that the car will have constant problems such as no power, poor mpg, stuttering. My car has good mpg and good power most of the time. It's only at random moments on random days that it will have this lean problem. It took me an hour of driving to get the problem in the video to show. Not saying that its impossible to be a bad injector, I'm just asking for more suggestions. I figure more suggestions more of a chance I can find the problem.
Also while I was searching I came across that it might be a Bad IAT. Any comments on this.

Re: HELP-Random AFR lean out
A fuel pressure regulator or even a pump can show symptoms on and off.
An effective way to rule out a fueling problem will be to test fuel pressure while the car is showing its symptoms.
Autozone and Oreilly's rent out a fuel pressure testing kit for a deposit, meaning you give them the value of the tool and they return your money when you return the tool.

Canadian Tire rents some tools. Not sure if they rent a fuel pressure tester but it doesn't hurt to check.

Re: HELP-Random AFR lean out
I will agree with almost anything can be intermittent. I managed to get hold of a fuel pressure tester but I don't know how I'm going to hook this thing up as there's no schrader valve on the rail.

Re: HELP-Random AFR lean out
Has the ECU wiring ever been spliced, or anything?
One day my car leaned out for a minute, and then just died, on the freeway.
Tracked it down to a wiring butt-connector on the injector circuit from an old setup (greddy turbo kit) down at the ECU that randomly came unplugged.
Yours sounds more intermittent, but its worth a check.
I soldered those wires and haven't had a problem since.

Wires are all oem untouched, good suggestion though. RonJ thank you for that post. I'll try to get back as soon as possible. Thank you to all of you for the suggestions also.
