Re: HELP radiator fluid
I would guess there's a leak somewhere..
Do you have any overheating problems, or does it boil over or anything weird..
cracked radiator maybe

Re: HELP radiator fluid
check your exhaust gas, cant remember but if its white, radiator leaking into the combustion chamber
if its fine, you can put UV dye into the radiator and get a uv light, shine it around the lines and find the leak

Re: HELP radiator fluid
Isn't that brown? - it happened on my old CRX - the head gasket was blown so I lost compression through the cooling system. I was burning radiator fluid in my cylinders with the gas and air.
Nasty smell too..
Any other weird symptoms?

Re: HELP radiator fluid
If its boiling into the res then its probably the head gasket. park up a hill with the nose going uphill and fill the radiator. Leave the cap off and let it run a little while and see if there are a lot of air bubbles. If so then its more than likely the HG because the cylinder pressure is passing the HG and going to the coolant system

Re: HELP radiator fluid
Ok I agree with flushing the system. And do as RonJ@HT said; replace the thermostat and radiator cap then bleed the system. But seriously, "if the problem continues. it means you motor is poo poo. swap time"???? No, sorry the motor is not "poo poo", it just has another problem. Like maybe a blown head gasket. Or possibly a bad water pump that isn't circulating coolant so it boils and burns off.

Re: HELP radiator fluid
The water level will also try to rise really fast when you rev the engine. As far as another option check and make sure the that water is flowing through the readiator...its pretty obvious. Also check the temp of the bottom radiator hose. IT should get hot, if not then its the thermostat or the water pump
