1: you will need to wire in a v-tec wire into your current harness se non v-tec wiring will not hjave a wire for v-tec
2:you can use all motor mounts except the rear tranny one it has to be from the bseries
3:I dont understand your question, Modification to what gearbox? you mean shift linkage? if so you'll need one from a 94+ integra
I think you have to change over your front suspension to integra too... but dont quote me on that

Re: (SMOOTHN)
1. so the engine harness will plug up fine to the harness that's in the engine bay?
2. rear tranny mount? the one in the back? or the one on the tranny on the top passenger side.
3. i'm not sure if the tranny is hydrualic, or cable. Is the tranny suppose to built up to the shift linkage. Or whatever it is that they use for the auto tranny.
Anyone else input on the front suspension?

Re: HELP!! Questions about my B16A Auto Swap?! (jdmstockeg6)
ok have some answers
1. no you will need a OBD1 vtec harness.
2. you will need the rear tranny "y" brace from a 94-00 integra
3. is the motor originally auto or manual? if i was you i would find a b16 hydraulic 5 speed and use that as your tranny.
*edit* and your front suspension is fine... the motor is only like 50 pounds more and your car will only drop about 1/8th of an inch... i have the same swap in my car and thats what it did.

yea thats the mount im talking about but it is hard to tell by looking at that pic if its the right one or not. i had the wrong one and it was about 3 inches short of what it needed to be... and trust me once you drop that motor in its a bitch to change and get in and out so make sure it fits right before you start.

Re: HELP!! Questions about my B16A Auto Swap?! (jdmstockeg6)
sooo that motor is a JDM B16 Auto?? you will need that harness then i beleive because the manual and auto have a different harness. it sounds to me like getting a manual tranny will be easier... may cost a bit more but you can sell a JDM b16 auto tranny for decent $$ more than likely. a 5 speed would be way quicker and get better gas milage also. just some food for thought.

well since its a jdm auto b16, can i use the engine harness with the stock 93 civic engine bay harness? and will that plug up the ecu fine? since both are OBD1.
