help problems with 1993 eg6
Hi there i'm new to this forum
Well first off my problem starts with my hatch
I swaped a d15b in my hatch due to previous engine d16z6 had many miles on it and leaking oil and oil consumption did a home made turbo setup on the d15b
which consists of the following
IHI turbo off a mx-6 mazda running boost at 8psi (stock internals)
intercooler is a front mount with 2.25" pipeing and exhaust is 2.50" from
down pipe to muffler. For fuel management is p28 with urberdata with 460cc injectors and
255lph fuel pump.
Well yesterday I noticed my idle being low so I followed the chilton manual on how to adjust idle.jump service connector disconnect IAC and turn screw in I did and nothing happened. So I removed the idle screw still nothing happens,so then I thought that something must be clogged ,so i sprayed throttle cleaner into the idle screw notice it went up 50rpm from 600-650.so I dove the car and it started bucking like crazy soI pulled over and the vehicle stalled.so then I noticed check engine lite on I check codes this morning it showed IAC/TPS/o2 sensor. Is that possible that 3 sensors can go faulty I don't believe it.I was wondering if anyone has the same problem or on some way that I can check the sensors before I go out and buy new ones or can it be that my ecu has gone bad.
any advice would be nice
Thank you

Re: help problems with 1993 eg6 (r-6)
Thats odd....I see alot of posts like this and by cleaning/replacing the IAC usually takes care of it.
Someone with more knowledge will definitely have some other suggestions for you though.
And I gotta give you props on your first post. It was all in correct english and very easy to read/understand your problem. You'd be surprised how hard that is to find on here these days. Enjoy the forum man...there's more knowledge and information on here than you'll ever need.
Check this thread often as many people will usually post questions that you'll need to answer ASAP to get things diagnosed correctly.

I'd assume its not a real EG6 so he probably had a Y7. Who knows.
