So my keys got stolen and my ignition key lock is toast. we mashed it trying to screwdriver start it. i was out of my home state and was really pissed trying to get it home. I have found info on replacing it but they all require keys. how do i do it with out the keys?? plz help

I have replaced mine . They are "tamper proof" but there is a way around it. It sucks but it works.. flat head screw driver and hammer on the screws and hit them to try make notches for the scredriver to bite.. once you break them loose its cake.

If i remember correctly, you can also present the title at the dealership as proof of ownership. Im not 100% sure on if that still works. Similiar situation ( lost keys, no tampering tho ) happened to my dad, he went to the honda dealer with the title, and some other forms from there, and they ordered him up a new key.

so if i go at it on the screw for the craddle?? how do i get it to snap back together?? or could a lock smith remove the old barrel?
