Default Help please, My 99 ex civic brakes are locking up!!!

Hi, This is my first post, Just thought i'd let you guys know...

Anyways, i finished changing my rotors and pads...I went around the block to test it out and it felt like it was dragging. When i got back home there was smoke and brake burning smells coming only from the right side. What i did was take off the 2 17mm bolts and the two 12mm bolts that hold the pins in. One thing that seemed wierd was that the bottom pin with a black tip seemed to not side as easy as the rest. Could that be the problem???
Also i think it could just be that things are not lined up right...
They are burning hot right now so i'm gonna take it apart and put it back together in 45 min.

Any suggestions???

there could be alot of things wrong.

maybe the pads are not seated right. make sure that little notch on the pad and the slit on the piston are alinged.

make sure your handbrake is not too tight as it may cause the pistons to still be forced agaisnt the rotor when released.

after installing pads, always spin the assembly to ensure free movement.

make sure you use a high temp silicon lube for the slider pins

if the pins were different sizes that could have been the problem make sure you lubricate the slides so everything works smoothly emergency brake will have nothing to do with this if you just did the front brakes.
