Default HELP PLEASE D16Y8 into OBD1.....

K, i have manage to move all the map sensor and other sensors over to the d16y8 manifold but now i'm stuck with one of the sensor that is plugged into the manifold. The WHITE ONE (IAT) it think that's what it's called....there's only one that is screwed into the manifold itself and i was wondering how did u guys * peeps that put the y8 into obd 1 cars* manage to not get a engine check??? or do i need that white plug???? because if i don't have that white sensor, i'll have 1 unplug wire and i think i might get a check engine light...... SO DO I NEED THAT ?? let me know PLEASE HELP!... and by the way i'm going force indcution.......

put it in your intake pipe and seal it with some silicone.

or

drill the manifold and bolt it to the back of it.

there are many ways to do this, but yes, you need that sensor.
