help please?
well, I once again need your help. I replaced my brake master cylinder and everything went ok. I bled the breaks..but when I test drove it, the brakes had kind of a hard feeling. It was tough to press down upon it, and the brake did not respond as well. Its hard to stop...because I have to really step on the brakes to stop. Do I need to bleed the brakes some more? Is it air still present that is causing this? any info will greatly help me. thanks all once again.

You might have double ringed your m/c when you installed it.
There is a rubber ring that is on the end of the m/c shaft where it goes into the booster. The new m/c comes with a new ring, but sometimes the old ring sticks. That *might* be your problem.
What you're describing sounds like a bad booster, or perhaps too big of a m/c for what brakes you have.
What booster, m/c, and brakes are you running and on what car?

its on a 93 Civic Si. honestly, IM not familiar with all the names of what brakes, or what booster I have. I just knew that the mc was leaking and whenever I pressed the brakes, the brake pedal would slowly go in..I then , went to auto zone..got me a new mc for my si..then simply installed it then bled the brakes with my friend. any help would be appreciate it. thanks guys.
