Default HELP PLEASE!!!!

i have a 93 honda civic hb.
when i first got the car the sendin unit needed to be replaced.
i recently ran out of gas, refilled it and it drove fine, stopped parked and turned it off.
when i cranked it back up it made a weird nosie so i shut it off and gave it some time it, made the same noise but ran fine, it drove for about 50 feet and just shut off, and wont crank.
i towed it home and completly changed the sendin unit, went a head and put a new fuel pump. still no good, so i went a head and changed the distributor like 4 times, and put a new main rellay (was already messed up when i bought it) and still no go. its gettin current to crank but not to start up.

sooooo im drivin myself crazy tryin to figure out whats wrong it, can some please help me!

When you turn the key to ON(II), does the fuel pump prime?

Have you checked for spark?

Any CEL codes?

Is the CEL on?

So there's no spark at any of the plugs, right? If so, test the coil and igniter unit inside of the distributor.

well if there's no spark ur cars not gonna run. Check to see if u have spark before u call the ecu. Check ur wires and plugs, disturb., and ur battery and starter see if it cranks. Good luck.

Have you checked for battery voltage on the Blk/Yel wire attached to the coil and igniter unit inside of the distributor when the key is in ON(II)?

no but i dont even think the powers reachin there.
it turns on when it wants to, if not the it just cranks but its as if it was tryin to turn over but somethings not letting it. i had the same problem when i bought the car but i changed the main rellay and it disappeared until i recently jus ran out of gas. i changed it again jus in case and still no go.

Get a voltmeter and check for battery voltage on the Blk/Yel wire. If there's no voltage, check the Blk/Yel wire that runs between the distributor and ignition switch for an open. Also check the corresponding wire terminals in the distributor and ignition switch connectors for damage.

Same as the voltage that you measure across the two battery connectors (=battery voltage).

Use the thermostat housing as the ground in your voltage test.
