Default Help Please

Has anybody ever painted there dash with it still in the car is it hard and does over spray get everywhere? Im just worried to take out the dash because, My friend did it and when he tried to put it back in everything didn't line up right. Seems like it would be easier to just tape off everything in the car.

My buddy and i painted parts of his dash on his is300 we took the dash out it was a pain but i think it was worth it, it came out real nice. i dont see why you couldn't tape everything off and do it inside but keep in mind you would have to tape and cover EVERYTHING seats, windows, roof you get the picture overspray from spray paint goes everywhere even more so if its in a small closed space. and if you do it with the windows open overspray could get on to the body paint. hope this helps

I would definitely remove the parts you want to paint, or don't do it at all. Spray paint inside the vehicle sounds like a bad idea. I know that's not what you want to hear...
