okay just the other day i was driving and suddenly i look at my temperature and its all the way up to HOTT!! so i stop the car pop the hood and check the water. everything was fine water is still there check if theres any leaks from the water pump and the radiator nothing. So i got back in my car start it up and the temp. drop back down to normal. Thats wierd it's done that 3 times already. I have the JDM white face cluster. Could that be it? one of the plug isnt plug correctly? By the way my car is a 94 SI hatchback with a 95 LS motor. Please help, thanks.

AF/Water is completely full?

Does you car lose power?

Does it seem hotter than usual?

yea my bro said it might be the thermostat. Im gonna change that today and see if that was the problem. By the way no smokes from the exhaust AF/water is completely full and the car doesnt lose any power. It just goes up real high then after about 3-4min it drops back down to normal.

maybe the coolant temp. sensor. If your car isn't overheating and it's reading hot, I wouldn't rule that out

yea my other hatch the water pump has gone bad on me and the radiator and both those times i can see the water leaking from the water pump and the radiator. But on my new hatch now theres no water leak at all.. so maybe its just the thermostat or a bad sensor then. Thanks for all the replies .
