Default HELP: obd2 jdm d15b swap fuel but no spark no crank angle

I did a strait replacement swap for my obd2 ek with a jdm d15b non vtec longblock. I used my US intake manifold and kept it obd2. I did not change out the oil pump therefor I don't have a crank angle sensor. I was going to use the crank angle bypass trick.

After an attempt to start the motor, there was no spark. I'm getting fuel, and most posts suggest checking the ground. I've checked all my grounds and added another ground to the valve cover but still no spark. Also, I've checked the fuse under the dash with no luck. I've checked the coil with a multi meter and it seems in good working order. I've tested for spark with an extra spark plug and I've only seen it spark twice out of the 15 times I've checked. Could it be because I didn't wire up the crank angle sensor?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

It's called the crankshaft fluctuation sensor or CKF sensor.

What year Civic? Does voltage reach the Blk/Yel wire in the distributor? What were the coil resistance readings? Has an auto parts store tested the ICM?

What CEL codes?

ok i got home form work and checked for any cels but the check engine light turns off i also tested the blk/yel wire on the dizzy and it is getting power I saw your post on trouble shooting for sparks and made sure the timing belt wasn't broken. Any other ideas on what it could be? how do i check the rotor and cap? the thing i can't understand is that it was working before i did the swap.
