Default Help a nub out!

ok...so now im selling my '00 si to get probably a ek9..Can anyone tell me *What a ek9 is?* like my si's VIN has em in it so i know its real.

92-00 years for hatches are EKs??

or is it a differnt model of hatches? i.e. civic dx,cx,vx etc.

Maybe give me a link to one of those sites that list the info i need?

or should i just quit it with the ek and get a s14 kouki!?!?

TY in advance for POSTS that actually answer my questions..

i believe the ek9 is the CTR from japan. which is a HB(no coupes in japan). ek's are the 96+ i think? i don't think the model of civic change's the chassis code but i could be wrong. and no you should not get a s14.

For the hatches, EG is the bubble back with the small headlights, and sort of rectangular taillights. EK is the next body style, with the larger headlights and somewhat triangular taillights. Hatches and coupes/sedans dont go by the same chassis code, i.e. a em-1 coupe, which looks like an EK hatch. If that makes any sense at all... Check out this link for a better idea of what I'm talking about. http://www.geocities.com/Motor....html

i know its an ek4 but thats what the front end of a ek9 will somewhat look like. minus, the color matched lip, headlights, no girl and FMIC.
