IMO, it blocks out a lot of noise. I have been in my buddies car without it, and its loud, and shows virtually no change at the track. remember, for every 100 pounds, you only shave off 2 tenths of a second in the quarter mile. You also only gain like 2% for gas mileage... I would leave it all there! unless this car is specifically for track use only, of course. If it is track use only, go ahead and remove it!

no i was asking because my car dosent have it already and it seems louder in my hatch then others was wondering if it would be better to buy the stock fire wall mat or some dynamat i mean since i have to take everything apart anyways would it be better to have dynamat and dont base your opinion on cost base it on which one will be quieter
