HELP!!! no power to injectors
after letting the car sit for almost 3 month, today i tried starting up my hatch and i got the initial click from the main relay with the key on the "ON" position but dont get the 2nd click after the fuel pump prime (fuel pump doesnt prime either) and CEL stays on while the car is off when its supposed to go off.
Sometimes when i leave the key to the "ON" position and leave it there for 5-10 min, the fuel pump primes and i get the 2nd click and it starts up right away no problem, also drives smooth not hesitation. I tried re-soldering the main relay and even bought a new one but still get the same problem. I hot wired the fuel pump and engine started right away then and hr later i tried it again and now it wont start. BTW check all fuses in hood and under dash and cleaned all ground points. I'm thinking it has something to do with the connection from the main relay to injectors. any ideas?

Re: HELP!!! no power to injectors
Did you clean and tighten the G101 ground wire attached to the thermostat housing?
Have you checked the main relay and ECU connectors?
If all else fails, try swapping in a known good ECU.

yup, did that all today. cleaned ground at thermostat housing, re-soldered main relay, and replaced it too with a brand new one and checked ecu connectors. im gonna try and run a wire from the a24 pinout to G101 as soon as i get home. hopefully that works.

Re: HELP!!! no power to injectors
Yes. Dummy plug is connected.
well i cant check it with a good known ECU till sometime next week. Is there a way to check it with a multimeter till then? It's mainly the the 2nd click from the main relay that I'm not getting. It clicks on the ON position and clicks again when i turn it off. A buddy of mine borrowed my ECU a couple days ago and his car ran just fine with it so i don't think its the ECU but I'll still try swapping it sometime next week when i cousin comes back next week.

I found an ecu but its a P06. I'm using a P28 right now but would the car run fine with the P06 besides not having vtec?

Re: HELP!!! no power to injectors
ok well finally got a good working ecu and it started right up. now the problem is the car will idle but when i tap on the gas, it wants to stall. CEL comes on but goes off when the motor turns on. I tried unpluging the TPS and MAP while the motor is running and it idled the same when i took off the MAP. It wanted to stall when i took off the TPS. I tried my friends MAP and it had the same results so I'm thinking its the wiring from the MAP to the ECU. Is there a way to check the CEL code while while the motor is running cause the CEL light goes off when the key is in the ON position.
