I dropped in a new motor with JE9:1 pistons with a 1.5mm gasket. I started it and its loud but it doesn't Idle right its like the crank is wobbly but when I look at the pulley its steady. Is this crank walk or is the motor not broken in yet.. I need some info I've done a search and nothing. Also it has a jolt. Oh yeah the motor is a b16a with a port and polish and 3angle valve job.. thanks in advance

I'm no expert, but do you have the throttle position sensor adjusted correctly? I just put on a BBK throttle and had to take it to a tech to determine that that was the cause of my resultant rough idle. Also what about ignition timing? I wish I could be more helpful, but I don't pretend to be God's gift to the Otto cycle. Good luck!

Ok my idle there is none unless I have the gas down. And when it warms up it will run on its own but rough like the pistons don't want to turn. The motor jerks on the mounts its like it wants to die but it doesn't it stays on timing is TDC but i've retarded and advanced the timing, to my luck no result still rough Idle. I just want help it seems like it doesn't want to run by itself. The TPS sensor is still good. do the new pistons do this? I just want it to run. Im getting real depressed. any advice.
