Help - New member
Hi, Acturally I became a member around a year ago and check out this site from time to time. Anyway, I found something in the sale section and wanted to bid. However, I cannot reply in that forum or use PM. In generel, its very limited what I'm capable of.
Can anyone help? How can I "upgrade" my profile?
Thanks

You must have posted at least once in a tech or marque forum in order for the software to recognise that it is supposed to change your permission level.

With at least one instance of activity.
If it was simply 10 days w/o any restrictions it wouldn't really have a purpose then (the wait time), now would it?
Usually when somebody signs up they make at least one post though..Though I've never seen somebody create an account and let it sit for a year so x2.

A lot of people join just because they are amused by GDD or one of the other general discussion forums that have taken off, recently.
The trial period's particular set-up might be a legacy from a time where anyone who joined was expected to be able to contribute technical content.
