Default HELP: New 02 sensor, still CEL 1 <== Steps to trouble shooting CEL 1 inside

Help HT,

After I did an engine swap the car's been throw a CEL 1 so I swaped out the o2 sensor on the exhaust manifold (before cat) with a brand new one. And it is still throwing a CEL 1... so I went through the trouble shooting guide in the honda service manual and every step checked out alight okay.

1) Rest ECU, either remove 7.5AMP fuse in under hood fuse box for ten seconds or remove battery terminal. Ok done, still throwing CEL 1. Procced to step 2

2) fuel pressure regulator check ok. Procced to step 3

3) test drove car w/ at in 4th gear throttle wide open 5 seconds and decelerate w/ throttle closed. Still throwing CEL 1, procced to step 4.

4) voltage between o2 connector and ground w/ throttle wide open above 0.6 volts (peaked .859v) and below 0.4 volts when throttle released (bottomed out at 0.248volts). Meets manufacturer specs, procced to step 5.

5) voltage between connector d14 (+) and D22 (-) above 0.6v (peaked 8.89volts), and below 0.4 when throttle release (bottomed out at 0.236volts). Meets manufacturer specs, procced to step 6.

6) subsituted 3 different ECUs (p08, p07, p05 and p05 converted to VTEC) and it's still throwing CEL 1. End of trouble shooting options.

Please help me, this is the home stretch for me. After this CEL problem is solved, the next problem is SMOG and after that, mission complete.

Thank you in advance

I am pretty sure, it's one blank (light stays on for two seconds) once and black for five seconds...

If the light flashes on for 2 seconds than it is code ten. Quick flashes count as one and the longer pauses count as 10's. Looks like your IAT isnt plugged in.

I jsut went out there to check. Now it's throwing 1 or 10 and 41.
I am puzzled...

Also, I checked my ICA, there were plugged in but I couldn't get the resistance reading. The damn thing is pointing downwards I couldn't see in the dark. I will have to get readings tomorrow.

Off the top of my head 41 should be the heated part of the O2 sensor. Does the car have exhaust on it??? Is the o2 sensor bolted in tight??? Check all wiring by checking continuity between the sensor and the wiring right before it goes into the ecu.

that's weird o2 sensor heater doesn't exist on 1 wire o2, I would double check if that ecu is not chipped for 4 wire.

the p07 is a vx ecu. Youre ecu is looking for a 5 wire (wideband) o2 reading. Youre obviously not running one.
