Help need some pro advise on my d16y8 conversion
start out my project due to spun rod bearing on my d16y8 engine. got a d16z6 for way cheaper then the original y8 would cost. got goin on the project only to find that most componets (like dizzy, knock sensor and crank sensor) dont work on the z6. so we got the z6 dizzy, found a trick to bypass the crank sensor and still tryin to figure out the knock sensor. so now we were able to get spark and fuel (after findin a loose ground bolt) but the car wont fire up. seems like its flooding. we pulled the spark plugs and noticed they are soaked with gas. please let me know if anyone knows of any other things that we arent informed on. thanks for your time
