HELP! need estimate on Head repair.
Ok guys, i screwed up today and broke the valve cover bolts off of my d16z6 and i need to know how much im looking at to take it to a machine shop to have the rest of the bolt removed. I am going to try vice grips tomarro, but being the worse case scenerio i would like to know how much im looking at. Thanks.

im not really surei hope its sticking out so that u guys can use the vice grips bzump for these guys its only the valve cover bolts u should be able to c the other end on the other side of the valve cover hmm u guys mite be ok if not hmm it shouldnt be much to get a shop to do it. i thought it was a head bolt i was skimming thorugh the post

is the bolt got broken clean off? does it still have a little stub sticking above the head? i would try to use an easyout. you can get these bit at sears, lowe's or homedepot. your best bet is at sears. get a center punch too. this will help out to prepunch a mark for the easyout. take your time doing this and if you not up to it then take it to a machine shop. this would take them no more than 1 hr the most it would be 2 hrs. don't know what the rate at the machine shop.
