Help...Need EK9 VIN
Hi Guys,
I want to upgrade my rear sway bar on my civic si 00.
The only available source is the dearlership, but they requested the VIN number of EK9 civic type R to be able to qoute and order the sway bar.
Can anybody PM me with a type r vin number (17 digits required) ?
Thanks

How about you tell THEM what part number to order and stop messing around with VINs? They won't order without a VIN? I've never heard of such garbage.

Re: Help...Need EK9 VIN
They were not able to find the part number because the EK9 type r was never available in my country and they do not have the spare part list for this car.
So they either want the swaybar part number or the car vin number to be able to do a special order for it.

why not just install a aftermarket one...you will see gains from the ek9 hype r one but a aftermarket one is probably a better choice and is probably around the same price

Re: Help...Need EK9 VIN
There is no aftermarket ARB for my car and it seems the dealership sux.
Anyway, the next choice is to ship from the US.
Im planning to get the ASR subframe and 22mm sway bar from kingmotorsports.
I also found a 24 mm sway bar.
Which is better for my setup and why?
My current setup:
koni/GC: 430F/300R
26 mm front sway bar
13 mm rear bar
