HELP?!? My EK Just Died While Driving.....
I have a 2000 Civic DX with a B20 in it. I was driving home from school this morning and while in 5th gear at like 40 mph, the engine cut off and i coasted to a stop. The car will turn over, but not all the way to start the engine again. It just sits there trying to start. I had to get help to push it home. Anyone that helps, Thanks in advance. I dont know what else to say about the problem. It wont start...

Sounds like your alternator might have gone, and now your battery is dead. I'd have them both tested before looking into anything else.

battery is ok
alternator seems fine
I can hear the fuel pump turn on.
the only thing im fishy about is that there is there is a cheap-o dissy cap. I pulled the spark plug and they smell like fuel, so the only thing left is spark. What else can be wrong?
thanks

the ignitor inside of the dizzy. this just happened to me. get a voltage tester and the manual, pull the cap and check resitance on the coil. oh yeah btw any obd2 ignitor will work so if you have a spare dx/si whatever obd2 dizzy just pull out the ignitor and replace it . good luck
