My friend just bought a 92 civic 4dr and the passenger drivers side door is like broken. The handle moves but it won't open. He tool the inside handle off and the bar that runs to the handle and opening mechanism is broken. He can't get the door open. Does anyone know how to take the outside handle off the car? Without runing anything. Help me help him, please....

Yeah he an get in the other 3, but he wants to be able to use them all.

Tell him to go in one of the other doors and put the inside parts back on. I don't think taking the outter handles off will fix the problem.

if he can get the trim panel off, he can open it up from the inside. there should be a rod conectrd to the latch.

That is the problem the rod is broken. There is nothing that we can think of to get it off.
