HELP!! my del is sol is leaking brake fluid
It leaking from that area in the picture. Has anyone else ever had this kind problem? The leak is pretty fast, I have to keep filling up with brake fluid. thanks

that's your proportioning valve and from the looks of it the line nuts may not survive removal.
but put some PB blaster on them an let them soak over night. I just replaced all my rubber lines, calipers and Master cylinder. I had one line nut that would not budge. Actually bent my craftsman line wrench. I clamped a smal vise grip on it and broke it loose.

your probly gonna have to go to the dealership to get one they aren't cheap around 150$

does anyone know if the brake proportioning valve from a 2001 civic is compatible? thanks

look up the prop valve it's part number 6 in the brake lines drawing. Take that part number and put it in the search at the top and it will show other vehicles using that part.
The answer is it was only used on del sols 93-97 with rear disk brakes. But the above process will show you how to cross reference parts for the future.
The good news is it can still be bought. The one for rear drum del sols is no longer available.
It may be unique as it proportions front to rear braking and that is affected by weight distribution. You may try searching for threads about converting del sols from drum to disk and see what valve they used.
