HELP! My clock resets everytime!
Hey guys/gals,
I've got a '93 Si and everytime i start my car, the clock starts at 1:00! When the car is off, the clock doesn't seem to have any power running to it. I hold down the little plastic flap which usually shows the time (without the car running/key in) but nothing happens...anyone else ever had this problem? any help would be appreciated..thanks!

i had this problem with my old Accord. it turned out that the LED was dead. but the car was also 11 years old at the time, so that would explain it. Maybe your LED is dead, too.

nope, my deck is fine, the clock on the deck doesn't reset itself nor do the preset stations...
oh yah, is the clock connected in any way to the rear defogger switch? the little light that indicates that it is on doesn't always work....

funny thing is, the LED light works when the car has started...it just starts at 1:00 and then starts counting up normally...??

Re: (Mashimaro)
Is it a "backup" as in spare fuse? Or is it a fuse labeled backup... I've got the same problem in my EX... And it gets really dim when I turn on my headlights, and blinks a bit when my turn signals are on...

Re: (ShakesTheKlown)
Nope, the backup fuse is not a spare. It is what holds information for the radio presets, clock, and the ECU (BTW, thats how the Helms manual says to reset the ECU...just pull the backup fuse for 20 seconds). It is clearly labled on the underhood fuse box!
