HELP! my civic cuts out at high speeds! why?
hi guys, i have just imported a honda civic siR2 from japan, its on a 1993, (b16a). when im nailing in 5th gear doing about 120mph-130mph with my foot to the floor it just cuts out then if you let your foot off quickly then its ok again untill you have your foot planted for another few seconds....
i have an induction kit on it at the moment and thats it, the rest is standard, so could it be that the car is sucking too much air or somthing???
cheers

It is the top speed limiter I believe. The cars ECU shuts out the fuel delievery.
