HELP!! My car struggles to start recently...
I just came back from a 500km round trip...
Today, my car struggled to start.
I went to watch a movie, returned, and tried to start the car.
It struggled, wanting to stall, so I give it gas.
It had some delay and was weak, but I kept pulsing the throttle letting it not stall. There was delay and it did not rev up nicely.
Car threw a code 17 (obd1 ecu)... but my speedometer is fine. After I restart the car, it went away.
I then went to eat dinner. I tried to start the car.
It struggled and struggled (cranking?) but did start
I tried again, cranked but did start.
Again, cranked but did not start.
Again, cranked, cranked, it started, but wanted to stall badly.
I give it gas, there was delay and did not rev nicely. Kept pulsing the throttle to let it not stall. Then I tried to take off, it stalled.
I tried again, this time there was not much delay and revved normally. I kept it at 2K, then took off. It was fine and the car is now parked in my garage.
What is going on? It feels like there was not enough fuel. What can I do to diagnose it? I noticed last night when I turned on the hazards, headlights (hid), it didn't idle smoothly and revved up/down very slightly.

um, fuel pressure gauge before you go replacing parts, so you can check if the pump is actually working. does it seem like your battery is not kicking over like it should?

Re: (Redbone)
It did feel like a weak battery but I don't know how it should feel.
How can I test the battery, or anything else. Hopefully I can bring it to a mechanic tomorrow but I rather save cost and try to fix it myself if there is an issue or just a one time thing.
Edit:
My brother just checked, hes an amateur mechanic, and he tells me theres no fuel.
The car started and died. Tried again, did not turn over. Again but pressing throttle. It wanted to stall but kept on the throttle. It then idled okay after a while.

Edit: I think it may be the fuel pump. I was stuck at the border for 1 hour, then drove for 2 hours. The fuel light came on when I was 20 km home so I decided to fill up at home. Maybe it overheated?
