Default HELP!!! My A/C and Heater control lights stay on - when the car is turned off!!!

yep. the lights that direct air flow and stuff - those ******* things are now staying on, when i turn the car off and take the key out of the ignition. it will even let me turn the heater blower motor on with the key out of the ignition. has anyone else had a similar problem and figured out what it was to fix it?

this is an option that i didnt pay for

lights usually are always getting constant on honda/acuras.

meaning even if there is no key in the car you can still turn on the lights.

if your suggesting that even tho your parking lights and headlights are off however those specific 2 lights stay on, its most likely a wire problem which is giving those groups of lights power.

my first step in troubleshooting this problem is by finding out what was done to the car latest involving any kind of wiring. most commonly a new headunit.

did you recently do anything with the A/C or heating system?did you add A/C to your non-A/C car?i had the same problem with a friend's car a couple years ago when putting an A/C kit in it...i can't remember for the life of me what the problem was though

i'd check all your grounds inside the cabin, just to be sure they're good.
