Help on my 94 del sol
i want to swap my stock engine. but i dont know whats the best engine i can get for my del sol. is a b16 better for my del sol or a b18.
if i get a b18 non-vtech is it possible that i can change it into an vtech but adding a vtech head? some please help me

what do i need if i was to swap my engine with a B16 5 series dohc vtec, how much hp will i have and will i feel a big from my old engine to the B16.

B16A2 or B18C1 are good choices. B18C5 (type R) if you can afford it. B18B's are cheaper and you can swap on a VTEC head later if you're mechanically inclined. The process is well documented at this point.
Assuming you have a D16Z6 in your Sol the swap is really straight forward. The B16A won't need any additional wiring, the B18C will need two new wires but it's really easy. These swaps are very well documented on the Hybrid Page http://hybrid.honda-perf.org/
